I had a great time photographing the barrel racers at the fairgrounds last night. I tried out a new lens and I think I got some great shots! Expect to see the first shots uploaded around the 7th of July.

I had a great time taking photos of the barrel racing entrants at BCRA's barrel racing event on Wednesday, 4 June 2014. I was truly amazed at how athletic the competitors were, people and horses. I have images online for 20 out of the 50 riders so far. Since I have sequences of images of each rider and horse, this amounts to 167 images. Even with a problem with the focus on my lens I was able to get good images of most people so if you don't see images of yourself yet check back over the next few days. If you were one of the people I did not get good photos of during the races, I will check to see if I have any good ones from the practice session. I will also be at the next event. Horse Racing Images

For those of you checking in for more horse racing images, please bear with me I will continue to get them up as fast as possible. I still have quite a few that I want to upload. I had a key lens die and had to take the time to track down a replacement lens fast. I also have a photo shoot tonight and one tomorrow but I will try to put a few more up each day. Thank you for your patience.

Horse Racing Images

I hope you enjoy the horse racing photos, I had a lot of fun taking them. Since I like to take shots looking up at horses, I got a lot of exercise from laying on the ground and getting back up about a billion times. So while my thighs are recuperating I have been uploading some of the images I have taken. I have images from the last three weeks of horse races at Pocatello Downs in Pocatello, Idaho. It takes time for me to process the images and upload them to the site. So far I have 25 photos uploaded mostly from the 4th week, one from the 3rd week, and one from 2012 with more to come. However, if you give me the date, the name of your horse or the number (position), and the race, I can see if I have suitable images and upload them sooner. Thanks for checking the images out and how about leaving me a message (there are two buttons on this blog page where you can leave a comment or use the message box below the horse images). Any kind of feedback would be great. For example: Was it hard or easy to use the site? What kind of images would you like to see? What kind of products would you like to see? etc.
